Fremantle City Rebrand
Rebranding Fremantle, one of Western Australia’s most underrated towns, was about finding distinction between it and its big sister, Perth. While not offering the stadium culture that people expect from an international destination like Perth, it delivers on its quaint maritime past, heavy metal homage (Bon Scott’s grave lies here), and industrial flairs.
I sought to create a typography that captured the sense of space in Freo: open, architectural, and funky.
I created a revamped website, mobile and desktop, as a mock redo of the current website. Breaking down the clutter and focusing on forging destination points was the logic behind reducing the points of interest to small squares.
